Brahmacharini : Full Handpainted Madhubani Off White Bangalore Silk Saree
One of our bestseller sarees, made on a soft, easy to drape Bangalore silk saree which feels as light as a feather and is still all things festive. The entire saree has been hand-painted with fish motifs, vibrant and enchanting peacock, fish, dancing woman and signature madhubani borders. Contrast red piping has been added all over the saree to enchance its beauty and grace.
Pure labour of love and patience, which takes more than 40 days’ time to paint; this is a work of extensive and intricate detailing.
The significance of second day is to adore Goddess Brahmacharini. She is a form of Parvati, in which she went through extreme penance. This day becomes sacred to meditate, signifying ‘Brahma’- divine consciousness and ‘achar’- behaviour.
