This off white Bhagalpuri Silk Saree depicts 'Raas Leela', the joyful dance of Radha-Krishna and the Gopis.Raas dance is part of the traditional story of Krishna described in Hindu scriptures such as the Bhagavata Purana and literature such as the Gita-Govinda, where he dances with Radha and her sakhis.
We have painted this beautiful celebration in Madhubani Painting style on the aanchal with multicolours. The border of the saree depicts Dancing Peacocks, Bhawras and Lotus alongwith vibrant Madhubani Borders. The playful dance of Lord Krishna along with his devotees is the theme of this unique and artisanal drape.
