She is the Shakti of Lord Shiva. So, Gauri Pujan is performed to get the blessings of Mata Parvati.If you go by the Hindu scriptures, it is said that Sita Mata performed Gauri Pujan to get Lord Rama as his husband.In Gauri Pujan, Lord Ganesh and Lord Shiva are also worshiped. Gauri Pujan is an occasion to worship Goddess Gauri and Lord Ganesh, and Lord Shiva, which reaffirms the importance of a happy family in one’s life. People seek the blessings of Mata Gauri for a happy and fulfilled married life.
With the aim of preserving handmade and connecting Mythology to our designs we have tried to depict Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva and also Sita Maa and her friends offering prayers to Gauri Maa. We have sketched and painted the entire saree with Red colour. Peacocks, Women offering flowers, Leaf motifs and Madhubani borders have been used to create a symphony and add a touch of Madhubani magic to the intricately designed saree.
Since the entire saree has been made with Red colour. It is apt for wearing it to any auspicious event like marriage, house warming and also makes a perfect gift for a new bride. The red cloth Tassles add to the beauty of the saree and makes it even more graceful and elegant
