Ram Leela - The Epic Tale Woven in Silk

Presenting "Ram Leela," a unique and captivating saree from our Devi Ritu collection. Crafted from luxurious handloom tussar silk, this saree is a tribute to the timeless epic of Ramayana, with each scene meticulously depicted in the intricate Madhubani art form.

"Ram Leela" narrates the journey of Lord Ram through beautifully hand-painted scenes. The saree begins with the momentous event of Ram Ji breaking the bow at Sita’s swayamvar, followed by the majestic Ram Darbaar. The saga continues with the poignant Kevat scene, and the fateful moment when Sita Maa is enchanted by the golden deer, leading to her abduction by Ravan. The story then unfolds with Hanuman Ji’s meeting with Sita Maa in Ashok Vatika, bringing her Ram Ji’s ring, and culminates in the epic construction of the Ram Setu, with rocks inscribed with Ram’s name.

The border of "Ram Leela" is adorned with delicate Madhubani detailing, featuring deers, banana trees, and traditional Mithila paintings, enhancing the saree’s cultural richness. Every inch of this saree tells a story, making it not just a garment, but a piece of art that carries the legacy of the Ramayana.
