Sarvamangla from our Durga Pooja Edit 2023  is the closest to our hearts. The aanchal has been designed and handpainted with Maa Durga in the centre riding Lion. The lion represents power, will and determination. Mother Durga riding the lion symbolises her mastery over all these qualities.When Goddess Durga killed Demon king Mahisasur, she was offered a white lion that is symbol of strength, braveness and life. The nine avatars of Maa has been painted surrounding the centre Motif of Maa.The newborn Durga led a battle against Mahishasura, riding a lion, and killed him. Thereafter, she was named Mahishasuramardini, meaning The Killer of Mahishasura. Maa has been represented carrying Shankha, Lotus, Weapons and Trishul.Durga is hence known as Mahisa-mardini for slaying the half-buffalo demon Mahishasura.

This exquisite drape celebrates the "triumph of good over evil". The beauty of this drape lies in its unique colour combination. Usually Madhubani is done in Multicolours but we have painted this saree in a dual colour combination of Pink and Black making the design even more auspicious and soothing.

All the forms manifested by Maa Durga signifies power, strength, bravery, knowledge, beauty, grace, and auspiciousness. For nine days, these Navaratri avatars of Durga Maa are worshipped.
